When you don't
have time to call.
We will.

The sound of a caring voice soothes the soul.
Personal Phone Calls

We will call your Mom or Dad for an extensive phone visit once a week. Our calls are meant to be "a call from a friend" with conversations to match.
We LISTEN and are SENSITIVE to their feelings and mood. We treat our seniors with respect, sincerity, love compassion, and care.

Personal Note Cards
Can you remember the excitement of opening the mail box in front of your house and finding a hand addressed letter? It's a bit crumpled, written with an unsteady hand, and so plump it must have treasures hidden inside. It must be at least 7 pages, written on old-school notebook paper, folded and stuffed into a small size envelope. If history predicts the future, there's probably a check for $25.00 inside.
It was a letter from your Mom.

Hi Maggie!!
It's been such a joy talking to you over the last month! I heard you are having some cold weather. Hopefully we will have an early spring. How's that afghan you are knitting? Hugs! Amy

Virtual Chats at Fun Places

There may be times when your loved one can't leave the house or care facility. We understand how isolated and lonely they feel, so occasionally we may venture out by a Video Call to a Quilt Show, Dog Park, Horse Show or a local Zoo.

We will.

Ears that Listen

When my Mom was getting older, one of the most appreciated gifts I was able to give her was to listen attentively to everything she said. It could be about a recent experience, or as distant as a 80 year old story from her childhood.
Before we would talk, I would
make a hot cup of tea or coffee
and settle back in my most
comfy chair; prepared to listen
to many of her stories for the
20th+time.
Sometimes we would laugh until we almost rolled in the floor; other times tears would surface from deep within.
I must admit that at first this was a pain. But I knew how much she loved talking about her life.
Before long, the inconvenience was replaced by a curious phenomenon. I was actually enjoying her trips back in time.
I found myself seeing her adventures in my own mind, like a movie; like I had been there too. It's a part of her
I keep to this very day.
